Understanding the Liftoff Growth System: ACCL Framework

A deep dive into our framework for intentional business growth. Learn how to identify your stage and focus on what matters.

Most small business marketing fails because it's random — a little social media here, a website update there, maybe some ads when things are slow. The ACCL Framework gives you a map. It helps you understand where you are, where you need to go, and what to focus on right now.

    What is ACCL?

ACCL stands for Awareness, Consideration, Conversion, and Loyalty. These are the four stages every customer goes through when doing business with you. Some businesses are stuck at Awareness — people don't know they exist. Others have plenty of awareness but struggle to convert. Understanding your stage is the first step to fixing it.

    • Each stage requires different strategies and tools
    • You can only effectively work on 1-2 stages at a time
    • Problems at earlier stages compound at later stages

    Stage 1: Awareness

At this stage, the question is: do people in your community know you exist? Awareness strategies include local SEO, social media presence, community involvement, and word-of-mouth. If you're new or in a competitive market, this is likely where you need to focus.

    • Can people find you when they search for what you do?
    • Are you visible in local directories and maps?
    • Do people in your community know your name?

    Stage 2: Consideration

People know you exist, but why should they choose you over alternatives? This stage is about building trust and demonstrating value. Key tools include reviews, testimonials, a professional website, case studies, and content that shows your expertise.

    • What do people see when they research your business?
    • Do you have reviews that speak to your quality?
    • Can visitors quickly understand why you're different?

    Stage 3: Conversion

People are interested — how do you make it easy to buy? Conversion focuses on removing friction from the purchase process. This includes clear calls to action, easy booking/purchasing, prompt follow-up, and addressing objections before they're raised.

    • How easy is it to book, buy, or contact you?
    • Are you following up with leads quickly?
    • Are there common objections you could address proactively?

    Stage 4: Loyalty

The most profitable customers are repeat customers. Loyalty strategies focus on staying top-of-mind and providing reasons to return. Email marketing, loyalty programs, exceptional service, and personal follow-up all play a role here.

    • How do you stay in touch with past customers?
    • What reason do people have to come back?
    • Are you actively asking for referrals?

    The Bottom Line

The ACCL Framework isn't about doing everything at once. It's about identifying where your biggest gap is and focusing there. Once that stage is solid, you move to the next. This is how sustainable business growth happens — intentionally, one stage at a time.
